Laser eye surgery side effects are real despite the claims that it is one of the safest procedures where surgery is involved. The truth is, it’s very safe but because it’s surgery there are certain risks involved and you need to be aware of this if you’re considering going under the laser.
One of the most important things when doing your due diligence with laser eye surgery is to take the pre-screening process seriously. Your surgeon will want to determine whether you actually are suitable for surgery before making the decision to accept you as a patient but there needs to be honesty from you during this process.
This is a crucial time in the entire process. Your responsibility to come clean about any conditions you may have is vital. By holding anything back, then the risks of laser eye surgery side effects increase so be well aware of this.
Common Laser Eye Surgery Side Effects
The most complained about problem with lasik eye surgery side effects is that of regression. Regression is where your eyes slowly go back to having bad vision, which means that after the surgery, a person could find that they still need to have glasses or contacts.
While this is not painful in any way, it can be extremely irritating after everything the person went through in hopes of having better vision. It also means more money and more chances or lasik eye surgery side effects if they want to go through the procedure a second time in hopes of getting it right.

One thing that could be very painful though is that of an infection as infections can cause the healing process to slow down a good bit.
